About Me

Hi, I’m Donnie

I didn’t go to school for marketing. I studied business in college, but after earning my associate’s degree, I decided I was finished. School was never my strong suit. I was more interested in starting a business than learning the theory in the classroom.

I’ve spent most of my adult working life in restaurants. Ticket printers going off, Friday night rushes, regulars with particular orders. Since the age of 14, that’s been my world. I’ve enjoyed my time in restaurants but it’s not something I want to keep doing forever.

Behind the scenes, my mind has always been more interested in the internet and building a business online. Back in high school I was looking to make it big with dropshipping websites and working to patent an invention (until I saw the attorney’s quote and quickly tossed that idea).

What I learned from restaurants shaped me more than I realized. Handling stress when you’re in the weeds. Anticipating the needs of customers. Working with all types of personalities under pressure.

These skills turned out to be perfect training for what I do now. I help brands write emails that people actually want to open. 

Now I use what I’ve learned about human connection to help businesses create emails that feel like a conversation, not a sales pitch. Because whether you’re serving food or sending emails, making people feel seen is what matters most.

I'll send the finished emails over for you to look at. We'll have time for any tweaks to make sure the copy is just right before I deliver the final version, ready to go.
